JOHN RICE

John Rice is a film and television

animation director and story artist. He recently co-directed the Angry Birds Movie 2 and has directed on Rick and Morty, Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons Ride at Universal, King of the Hill, and Beavis and Butt-head.

 

He was lead story artist on the first Angry Birds movie and has drawn storyboards for Freebirds, Gnomeo and Juliet, The Simpsons Movie, Beavis and Butt-head Do America, The Simpsons TV series, and The Critic. He has been working in the animation business for over 30 years.

 

John was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois and attended Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles, California.
